The Trade Observatory was born on a fixed site, and it is a permanent device for monitoring, studying, consulting, communicating, cooperating and suggesting. The bylaw that constitutes it states: “The observatory is an opportunity for discussion between commercial operators and the municipal administration, with a dual purpose: to better understand the issues and critical needs of the sector and to respond to the expectations of the community regarding the proximity of companies.
The observatory as a tool for participation, consultation and knowledge of the needs
Local businesses and citizens’ expectations aim to:
a) Promoting projects, initiatives, events and meetings related to the commercial activities sector.
b) Preferring linkage between the different commercial sectors and between them and local institutions.
c) Formulate and develop policies that can respond to traders’ needs
d) provide advice and support to the municipal administration, to promote more effective and
Effective development of commercial activities in the region.
The work of the observatory will be demonstrated to the City Council every six months
They vary in case of need and opportunity.
The observatory consists of nine members:
a) the mayor of Mondovi or his representative as president;
b) ASCOM representative.
c) representative of CONFESERCENTI;
d) the representative of CONFARTIGIANATO;
e) A representative of the Cyprus News Agency.
f) a representative of the LA FUNICOLAR association;
g) A representative of the consumer association.
h) a representative of commercial activities that are established in the regions of the ZTL and APU that are not already included
In the previous points b) to g);
i) Representative business activities that are not already established outside the ZTL and APU zones
listed in the previous points b) to g).
By public notice, interested parties will be invited to submit their nomination.
Candidates must meet the requirements for election to the position of Director
municipality and must also be activists or representatives of companies with local operating units in the municipality
