With November 11, 2022, the arc of peace actually enters the Metaverse. In fact, 7,777 NFTs created by Reasoned Art are being sold in a project being carried out with the Superintendency of Milan’s Cultural Heritage. The startup created Monuverse, an NFT-based cryptoart project that aspires to be the virtual home of internationally famous monuments. The aim is not to speculatively buy and sell NFTs but to create an educational and entertainment environment. A portion of the sale of the NFTs will also go to cultural heritage preservation.
Physical video maps with Ouchhh Collection
Last year, on New Year’s Eve, the Ouchhh International group from Istanbul turned the arch into an art installation, projecting 360-degree colored lights and AI-generated images onto the walls of the memorial. “After this experience, we chose not to limit ourselves to the physical element – explains Giulio Pozzo, CEO of Reasoned Art – we decided, in agreement with the censorship body, to go and digitize the monument, commercialize it and symbolize it with related works. Art”.
Sell NFTs in agreement with the oversight body
The founder of the startup and benefit company wants to immediately clear up the field of misunderstanding created by the story of Doni Tondo in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. “Our process is different. We will not sell the digital copy of the monument but market a third work. That is, a digital artwork derived from the projection of the Ouchhh collection onto the Arco della Pace monument that is used as a canvas »explains Pozzo.
The agreement signed with the Milanese Cultural Heritage Supervisory Authority stipulates that 12% of the total proceeds from Nft sales will go to the treasury on the basis of the Cultural Heritage and Landscape Law (Articles 107-108). Resources will be allocated to maintain the business. “Then, on its own initiative, Reasoned Art will donate 1% of the income generated from the secondary market directly to the Milan Supervisory Authority,” Pozzo adds.

Monuverse’s process and vision
On November 11, 2022, 7,777 NFTs will be sold on OpenSea, the largest NFT and interoperable platform with major platforms acting as aggregators. Then the secondary market will be opened with the possibility of selling the purchased NFTs. Meanwhile, Pozzo and his team mull over other monuments in Italy and around the world. In fact, the Monuverse business unit aims to create a physical installation in a monument to involve more and more people in the physical world. Then turn everything into virtual experiences and metaverses, build a community and sell NFTs. The basic vision is that of edutainment, that is, education for culture through gamification processes. “We imagine a platform for tomorrow, an ecosystem in which the user can find cultural assets and landscapes with avatars of historical context that can interact through artificial intelligence: for example, I can talk to Napoleon under the Arch of Peace,” Pozzo adds.
